Hospice and Palliative Care Handbook, 1st Edition

As a Hospice and Palliative care physician, I can personally tell you that caring for the terminally ill and those at the extremes of illness are some of the most rewarding care one can provide. I have been blessed to share experiences with many terminally ill in my practice, from joyous moments to supreme depression. I can honestly say that I have never seen a more pure human spirit and more human love than during these times. This book was written as a “guidebook” or handbook to aid those that are on the frontlines of Hospice and Palliative Care (including providers, nurses, and anyone providing hospice level care) so they can feel better prepared to aid the patient and their families in times of need.
