This a collection of historical patents. These are famous patents for their contribution in the sciences as well as famous because of who invented the patent. I have been a patent researcher for over 15 years and have amassed these patents for your enjoyment. I am working on another collection of odd and unusual patents. For now, please enjoy these. They deal with items as common as a match stick to items as complicated as a rocket ship, and everything in between, and yes, Edison is represented here as well as a number of his contemporaries. I have the light-bulb, projector, pocket protector, mouse, paper clip, strike anywhere match, rocket, submarine, stuff you never knew was invented, yet here it is. I provided a brief nudge of information for each patent to help you identify each item as well as why it was significant, as some can be esoteric in their writing. I would welcome feedback on this collection.
