Strange things were happening around Trinette. Her godmother told her stories about the land of fairies and unicorns all the time. But magic wasn't real. It definitely wasn't real for little Black girls from the south side of Chicago. Then one day her godmother disappeared and Trinette found out just how magical she could be. She had magic of her own and she had to learn how to use it while trying to save her kidnapped godmother from an evil fairy or risk losing it all.
