Christy Copeland attended and graduated with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Texas Tech University Health Science Center. Christy is licensed by the State of Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor to practice Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She is currently providing services at her own counseling center, Cope Land Counseling in Longview, Texas. Christy is passionate about the mental health field and has years of experience providing services to adults who struggle with depression, anxiety, adjustment disorder, ADHD and other clinical mental health disorders.
Christy is the founder of Christy Copeland Ministries, and is also a published author. She has written seven literary pieces including books and devotionals. Christy is a sought-after speaker and has been called to speak on national platforms across the country doing conferences and workshops. She has served as the Keynote Speaker for two of her alma maters, Tyler Junior College in 2023, and Troup High School in 2020. Christy was also the Keynote Speaker for the Tyler Area Alliance of Black School Educators’ 3rd Annual Yellow Rose Gala in 2023. She was featured as the Covergirl in the “Women of Dignity Magazine.” Christy was also featured in the 2021 Winter Edition of “Pulse Magazine” with Texas Tech University. She is the Visionary and CEO of the EmpowHER Experience, a movement of women from various cultural backgrounds who gather to empower one another.
