A workbook for developing shaman style skills of observation. The book includes instructions and pages for a ten day journal of the experiences.
From my perspective shamanism is not about learning methodologies, practices or rituals; it is a manner or style of living. That does not mean you give up modern life to live in a cave or hut. It involves learning to perceive and connect with all of the things and beings that surround you; at any moment you have access to wisdom, knowledge, direction and support from many seen and unseen beings. That may happen in a natural setting, but is equally possible surround by glass, steel, concrete and asphalt. As an example, the person that names and/or talks to their car is dipping their toe into shaman style practices.
For many people the process begins by learning to see the way a shaman does.
