Idinaka (female) who happens to be the main character in this novel “Alive in the sea of death”, was a subject of life’s numerous challenges.She was a product of ignorant incest, her mother abandoned her and ran away when she was barely one year old, Juliet her mother’s friend whom she left her for and her only hope, died in an auto crash when she was 8 yrs old and left her to suffer and survive. Idinaka passed through a lot in diverse stages of her life, she was raped, humiliated, rejected, dejected, dehumanized and betrayed especially by those whom she thought she will get solace from. But in all she passed through, she was able to stake her life to her dreams and therefore stood up tall in the mist of surrounding failures. This book tries to inspire us to aspire high in life and never quit in our aspirations no matter the challenges we are faced with in life. With the way the Chukwudi coined life experiences with his natural story telling and inspirational ability; you will be glued to this book until you finish the last chapter.
