Catriona, De Rorrim

She is BLACK and she is a TEENAGER— she knows that much. She is also a GIRL, she knows that too. As to who she is beyond these labels, who she truly is— Catriona has only a vague idea, which she probably got from watching that thing called teevee. Along comes a boy named ZhanNor, saying things she has always felt: she is too different, she belongs elsewhere. She is not Catriona Craig from Baltimore County, but Ka-Trion-ah from De Rorrim, and ZhanNor was sent to bring her back home. But getting sucked into De Rorrim... that does nothing but make those vague ideas fuzzier and fuzzier...
