
The last thing Nancy needed was to piss-off the Klallam’s holy man by taking in one of their tribal rejects. Nancy had moved to Port Townsend to get away from violence, not to be on some crazy Shaman’s shit list. She’d rather live alone, howling or no howling. But Nancy had to admit, the name Tanna Maicoh had a certain ring to it, something familiar, like the words of a forgotten love poem.
