A book of poetry by Clare Duklet (1942-1985), a mechanical engineer from Moorhead, Minnesota, who died in Fairbanks, Alaska. Clare Duklet's grandparents emigrated from Norway and settled in the Red River Valley. Clare earned his degree from North Dakota State University. These poems focus on Nature, Philosophy, Politics, and Life. An avid cross-country skier, hiker and fisherman, he often wrote about nature, mountains, and winter. This volume of poetry is edited by his daughter, NDSU Associate Professor Kelly Sassi, and grandson Alessandro Sassi. There is a section at the end inviting readers to write about their own lives.
