Párrafo: Revista de literatura arte y cultura is a trilingual art and literary magazine under the direction of the graduate students of the Department of Spanish and Portuguese of the University of California, Los Angeles. Párrafo publishes academic, literary, artistic texts and artistic productions that offer a critical perspective on the issue’s theme. The X issue's theme is Death and Decay. This issue highlights the (morbid) beauty of death and decay, figuratively and literally. The collection of texts hold a wide array of poetic, narrative, and artistic productions that meditate on the theme from fantastical creations to real life accounts of death and decay —showcasing the real, metaphorical, and figurative facets of death— that each author conceived.
