Illiom, Daughter of Prophecy

The five Kingdoms of Theregon have been at peace for a thousand years; a great milestone in a land that has experienced its share of turbulence. But as the millennium draws to a close, unsavoury events threaten to unravel the illusion of stability in the land. Living alone in the mountains, Illiom could not be further away from the dark conspiracies that plague the realm. Oblivious to outside happenings she is bracing herself for another winter alone. It was fear that led her to seek this solitary life, it is fear that keeps her here now. But someone is coming for her, to deliver her, willing or not, into the mayhem of the Kingdom’s political hub: the Royal city of Kuon, where dire events are unfolding in the shadows. Yet what possible link can there be between Illiom and this darkness? Illiom is being asked to step up and meet with a destiny that seems hell bent on colliding with her. Maybe braving another winter in the mountains is not such a bad idea after all.
