Faith and Dissent: The Nicholas Paul Story
Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
This is the story of a Mormon pioneer who turned against his church and became a prominent dissenter in southern Utah. He helped round up polygamists during the anti-polygamy raids of the 1880s and 1890s. Nicholas Paul was one of the founders of the Mormon Church in South Africa, a builder of the Salt Lake Theater and Fort Deseret, and was the head mason on Cove Fort, Utah. His mysterious death on the desert in 1901 raises many questions. This book was the winner of the Mormon History Association's "Best Family or Community History Award" for 2007.
