Never Forget An Enemy is a group of family stories about William David Napier, an ordinary boy growing up in the Kentucky Mountains. His childhood ended at the age of nine and his life filled with work, hardship, fear, and his fathers' desertion. Turned into a man before he had the opportunity to be a teenager. Bill joins the war effort during the Great War. When the war ends, he returns to the mountains and feels out of place. Surprised when a widow with children enters his life. He attends college in Lexington, Kentucky. His wife becomes ill, and the doctor advises them to move west. Bill is an avid hunter, tracker, moonshiner, and outdoors adventurer. Bill Napier did a lot of hard living during his lifetime.
