Zimmer Charging 2-2

Zimmer Charging 2-2 - Reprint and an expansion on ideas originally presented in the limited edition 2018 Zine-Only "Zimmer Charging 2-1". The original zine version of Zimmer Charging 2 was created for the Des Moines Art Center “Zine Takeover” on November 10, 2018. This numbered limited edition version was designed as a 20 page layout to be printed in black on a variety of different colored papers. Further elements included hole punches, braille impressions, hand cuts, post-its, torn & taped details and slit inserts. All copies were unique, each containing randomly selected paper colors, and other unique details. For this collection, I’ve done a new color treatment for the original spreads. They were never meant to be displayed in a purely monochrome state. Since this is a produced book rather than a zine with colored paper, I’ve introduced color into the compositions.
