Looking at HAMLET with the language tools of a hypnotist, the author identifies language patterns that, it is argued, reflect Shakespeare's deliberate intention to drive his audience into trance. Exploring these language patterns further, it is argued that Shakespeare coded emotional meaning into his plays using early Christian forms of understanding scriptural stories called typology. A radical, potentially heretical, and fun reading of the play. This is the advanced print of this book.
