Christmas With the Dolphins

ByCourtney Wells

Christmas with the Dolphins is the story of Damian, a young disabled man who rises up from life in a wheelchair to help change the world. After losing his parents he embarks upon years of self discovery, overcoming hurdles at nearly every turn. Growing stronger year by year he reaches a point where he must make certain decisions about his future. In his early twenties he undertakes a massive tree planting expedition with a team of other disabled folk, travelling all around Australia planting mostly endangered tree species but also trees suitable for the areas in which they travel. Throughout his trip he develops skills beyond his wildest dreams, of confidence building and a whole lot more. People quickly begin to admire him and he is invited to an environmental conference where he puts forward ideas to make the world a better place for all species. He develops close relationships and he falls in love, coming to the realisation that are no limits at all to what a human can achieve.
