Creative Crafts Council 30th Biennial Exhibition

An exhibition catalogue of the Creative Craft Council 30th Biennial Exhibition held in 2015 at Strathmore Mansion. The Creative Crafts Council celebrates their 30th exhibition supporting the finest crafts from Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia. The first exhibition had bold beginnings as the “Exhibition of Creative Arts” at the National Collection of Fine Arts, (now the National Museum of American Art) and we continue this tradition today at Strathmore Mansion. In this juried exhibition, traditional mediums such as fiber, enamel, wood, glass, ceramic and metal are impeccably crafted in new ways. Representatives from the top craft guilds across the region make up our board to ensure this task year after year. Let this catalogue serve as an archive of the artistic craftsmanship and the utter dedication so many of us have to fine craft.
