East Cree (Northern) Thematic Dictionary

COLOUR HARDCOVER The Eastern James Bay Cree Thematic Dictionary (Northern Dialect) contains over 140 themes and sub-themes covering traditional and modern Cree activities. Each theme contains associated Cree words with their English definitions. Special attention was given to the relationship between Cree people and the land, traditional ecological knowledge and Cree culture in general, both in selecting the words and creating the categories. Photographs and drawings illustrate each theme.
