Over Doc’s lifetime, he has been a truck driver, steeplejack, custom motorcycle builder, plumber, painter, artist, newspaper publisher, heavy equipment operator, General Excavation Contractor, radio personality, computer programmer/web designer, business owner, amateur genealogist, and now an author. Truly, a “Jack of many trades.”
In a recent interview, Doc confided, “One of my greatest passions has been my family genealogy and have now completed my book, “A Letter From Aunt Ethel,” which gives a glimpse into the lives of my ancestors, those pioneers who were a part of America's beginnings and who's descendants blazed the trail from Virginia to the Oregon Territory and Alaska, spanning more than eight generations and more than 250 years.
Now his new book, "Rhoda, A Tragic & True Story of a Farmer's Daughter," is complete. It is a compelling, tragic and true story of his g-g-aunt Rhoda.
His next endeavor? "54th Journey Around the Sun - The Life & Times of a Preacher's Son."
