Crystal Saga Series 2, 11-Designing the Future and 12-The Future Beckons

My name is Dr. Astarte. I am the Royal Physician to the Royal Family. I had just completed analyzing the test results of the Royal Children when Queen Tamara arrived in my office to ask what I had found. I explained to her that all four children had genetic markers for shadow magic because their father had assimilated some when he became a Super Child. Her son, Verd, had the most shadow magic and it manifested itself during his recent mission with Savea. They attempted—successfully—to create and deploy additional lava tubes, directing them beneath Island X, the refuge of all avatars on the planet. Their efforts created a new volcano that eventually blew up the entire island. Verd was able to save Savea from the Lucas avatar, who was the present ruler of that island, directing his attack on her using red shadow magic rays to reverse and hit the Lucas avatar instead. During this mission, Verd received an additional forehead crystal, a red one. His two forehead crystals, red and clear, combined to create red and white striped bracelets on his arms, giving him dominion over both types of magic.
