Enterprise Asset Management in the Department of Defense

This booklet discusses the paradigm shift occurring in the management doctrine of the Department of Defense. The shift is from the classical "job shop" management paradigm to a more agile "mass customization" management paradigm, the latter being required in response to an increasingly dangerous world in which the DOD must "float like a butterfly and sting like a bee."
