Sent to her aunt’s house in the small town of Deacon for the summer, Annette felt as if her life had been lost to her. Nothing in little Deacon compared to her life in Chicago. Worse, Aunt Fran was far stricter than Annette’s mother.
The town, however, had the answer to strict parents, and Annette found herself in the middle of it when she joined a group of defiant youths. By the time that she understood, it seemed too late. Had she known the true nature of the teens, she might never have fallen to the edge of murderous disaster.
