The Sectarized People of God - Paper Back

What distinguishes a people from a subculture? how does a subculture become a sect? This thesis explores the ideas of people, subculture, and sect, by looking at the history of the Waldensians. This thesis explores the differences between a sect, and a "sectarized" group, claiming that the Waldensians were not a heretical group who left the Roman Church in 1184, but rather they were put out, unpeopled. The thesis ends with the return of the Waldensians into the Church, now Reformed.
