This publication is the ideal "hand-out" for construction safety trainers when presenting the scaffolding portion of an OSHA 10 or 30 hour class, or for a standard scaffold safety training session. This book addresses some of the most common questions about OSHA's scaffold standard. It is organized in a question an answer format to highlight the pertinent information that employers and employees need to know. In addition, each answer references the regulatory text where that particular information can be located. Included is copy of the regulatory text regarding scaffolding from 29 CFR 1926; and new in the revised version, the inspection procedures used by OSHA for enforcing Subpart L - please note that the standards change and you should always verify the most current data from OSHA.
