The MFA Design program encourages thinking through making or practice as research. Based on the idea that knowledge is derived first through the senses, by handling materials, the MFA curriculum allows students to develop hypotheses in a studio environment, informed by both design research and interdisciplinary elective study. A methodology emerges through a body of work, shaped by structured dialogue among peers and faculty.
