Each set starts with a crossword puzzle game, followed by a word maze that includes the same words but while the clues for the crossword puzzle are short definitions and examples, the clues for the maze are sentences, and that will enhance your level of understanding of the words covered in each set. After each set, there is a word bank the includes the 20 words with a short definition and a unique example sentence. After every five sets at every 100-word mark, there is a word mastery challenge, with 100 multiple choice questions to make sure you remember the 100 words you had fun guessing before moving on to the next hundred. There are also two pages for you to write your own word bank of the ten favorite words out of the one hundred you learned and space to write some notes. Then you get to continue your vocabulary building journey with the next one hundred words with the same design, but with new words, of course. By the time you reach the end of the book, you will have learned 1000 new words. At the end of the book, there is a glossary that includes all the words mentioned in the book.
