WHAT IS WORD SEARCH GAMES AND ACTIVITIES 8, AND WHO IS IT FOR? Word Search Games and Activities is a 10-book series designed for word enthusiasts and those who want to build their vocabulary while having fun. It’s also great to prepare for international exams such as TOEFL and SAT. HOW ARE THE BOOKS DESIGNED? Each book starts with two different games including 20 unique words each, followed by a Word Search game and a Spelling Challenge activity that include the 40 words from the previous two games, and then two new games with new words and the same sequence continues all the way to the end the book ending with a glossary that includes all the words in the book. Each book in the series includes more than 1,100 words, so the entire 10-book series includes more than 11,000 words. WHAT ARE THE GAMES AND ACTIVITIES THAT I CAN FIND IN THE BOOKS? There are six different types of games and activities in the books. PATHFINDER: you will have to link the circled letters in the grid to find the words listed. The path can go in any direction, and you will find that the path is never straight, you will have to go in different directions to find the words. MISSING VOWELS: All the vowels are missing, so you will have to fill in the vowels needed in the grid to find the words. WORD SEARCH: This one is the typical word search game, where you will have to find the words hidden in any direction in the grid. SPELLING CHALLENGE: In this activity, you will have the chance to make sure you master the spelling of the words you just found and there is also a short definition to help you understand the meaning of the words you just had fun finding in the previous games. WORD FRAMEWORK: You have the words ordered by length and all you have to do is find their place in the grid. CRACK THE CODE: This game is a little tricky. All the words are coded, and you are given a small table to help you decipher the code and figure out all the words written in code.
