Darcy has dealt with mental illnesses most of her life, but wasn't diagnosed with anxiety and depression until December of 2013. Since then she has spent a fair amount of time learning about chemical imbalances in the brain, coping mechanisms, and listening to other people share their experiences with mental illnesses. Darcy is passionate about learning, growing, and improving the world around her. With this book she hopes that those who read it will gain a better understanding of the difficulties that individuals with mental illnesses may face. But, more importantly, that this book may provide an opportunity for vulnerable discussions between anyone and everyone, to further improve human relationships through trust, vulnerability, and love.
