This is the Way: How The Mandalorian (2019-) is Rectifying Representation and Diversity Problems Within the Galaxy Far Far Away.

In this academic writing I research the problematic misrepresentations of the pre-Disney era Star Wars media content. With a focus on solely live-action installments to the franchise (excluding The Book of Boba Fett as it was began airing after this work was started). As for misrepresentation and lack of inclusion, Star Wars leaves out more groups than you may think I found this out initially when researching Rebecca Harrison's work. With her inspiration I chose to focus one of the three case studies on the lack of LGBTQ+ inclusion, and the other problems regarding their representation in the galaxy far far away. With the other two case studies focusing on Din Djarin and finally the Tuskens.
