Wizard At The Gate

Wizard At The Gate is the concluding book of the Methridia Chronicles; a trilogy beginning with the novel, Globe Splitter, and continuing with King Of The Moon. In 1892, Jonas Christianson, adventurer and inventor, finds his way to Methridia during explorations deep beneath the sands of the Arizona desert. Methridia, a city state which occupies the whole of an enormous cavern, is home to science and culture vastly beyond the capabilities of anything on Earth's surface. In Wizard At The Gate, Jonas' journey takes him to the farthest reaches of his imagination; to worlds lightyears from his home planet, unlocking doorways through which he passes from the distant past to an unexpected future.
