Extract -
PiggiPete gathered the whole family together and told them a little about France and the French language. Although he did not know much of the French language he did know a few words. PiggiPete said that one of the most important phrases was, ‘Merci Monsieur,’ or 'Merci Madame'. It meant, ‘Thank you Sir,’ or 'Thank you Madame,'and this would help them to be polite to anyone they might meet.
Suitable for 4-9 year olds.
