Although the author is an atheist, he has no problem whatsoever with anyone's religious beliefs. He believes that if a persons religion brings them inner peace, personal satisfaction, or just gives them the "feel good factor", then good luck to them. He also wishes these people well - just as he wishes well to all who gain satisfaction from believing in the Tooth Fairy, Father Christmas or the Golden Gnome at the bottom of the garden.
