Out of the Yoke of Bondage

Donald King is a sixteen year old caught up in the life of a gang-banger on the streets of Hampton, Virginia. A member of the Angels of Death, he begins to wake up and realize that he cannot continue to live on the edge of death. In his attempt to escape, his plan is discovered and his fellow gang brothers seek to kill him. Wounded and bleeding in a drive by shooting, Donald ran to the only place he could find refuge – the Church of God on Lincoln Street. With the help of Elsie Maynard, who adopts him as her little brother, and a pastor who goes to the extreme to keep him out of prison, his life changes and he uses his experiences to save another young boy from the pitfalls of a gang.
