Lysistrata

"Lysistrata", as adapted from Aristophanes by Warren Robinson, respects the classic story of the battle of the sexes, while updating its language. Robinson, and dramaturge David Armour, challenge senior theatre students to have fun with the text, while entertaining and enlightening the audience. Lysistrata was first produced in 2006, and was invited to the province-wide showcase of the Sears Drama Festival. It is part of the "No Guts, No Glory" series, classic texts which present significant tests of student and teacher creativity.
