This is an easy-to-read retelling of THE MERRY DEVIL OF EDMONTON, a popular anonymous comedy of the Elizabethan era. At one time, William Shakespeare was believed to have written the play. in this play, Peter Fabell, a magician known as the Merry Devil of Edmonton, helps a young man and a young woman to marry despite the opposition of their parents. This play has a happy ending. Do you know a language other than English?
