The Work o' the Weavers, gives an account of the Scottish Insurrection of 1820.
Despite the British governments attempt to wipe these events out of history. The story survived partly through the oral testimonies of some descendents of the 1820 Radicals.
The book also makes use of the government biased newspaper stories of that time, to give an account of the Trial and Execution of the Scottish Radical James Wilson.
The author is the descendent of the leading Camlachie Radical Andrew Wilson
