Cold Water People

Ryan Anderson leads a carefree life on Vancouver Island, mountaineering, skiing and sailing. On a rock-climbing trip he meets Miriam who sees in him a way of escaping a family with too much money and a powerful,jealous father. Camping on the west coast of the island Ryan and his friend Jake find a half-frozen traumatised young woman on the beach. Miriam leaves him without explanation. His way of dealing with this is to get out into the mountains but what happens there only adds to his fear that his life is spiralling out of control.
