Useless Machines

The current population of the world is estimated to be around 6.5 billion people. This means that approximately one fifth of all humans in the last six thousand years are currently alive. Of these billions of people, how many are actually contributing anything worthwhile to society? The average person is, at best, completely useless. What will anyone do in his/her life that will ever be deemed effective? How is anyone's presence contributing to society? Who are they helping, besides themselves? An unavailing member of the population serves nothing more than to be objectified by the very culture he so mindlessly takes part in. We are attempting to effect changes in the way you, the reader, participate as an ever-so-anonymous constituent in the mechanism of humankind.
