William Lees Judson, the first dean of USC’s School of Fine Arts, was an art teacher, craftsman, author, pioneer, activist, and environmentalist, but above all he was an artist. Illuminating his aesthetics, this exhibition presents a selection of Judson’s plein air paintings, portraits, drawings, and watercolors. Works in the exhibition are on loan primarily from Judson family collections as well as other private and public collections.
