My Duke Experience: The Memoirs of David Noyd

Within these pages lie the adventures, the experiences, and the people who helped define my undergraduate years at Duke University. What started as merely a form of correspondence to family and friends back home in Oregon quickly turned into a chronicling of my life as a college student. From my first step into the Gothic wonderland to my beginnings on East Campus to the demands of academia to the fun with friends to pursuing passions in and outside of the classroom to the excitement of Duke Basketball to gallivanting across Europe to the journey of a premed student to simply the quotidian happenings of everyday life, this is my Duke experience. I hope that you enjoy catching a glimpse into my four years at an institution to which I am greatly indebted for all of the opportunities that it provided and the community that it fostered among its students.
