Poems of Love, Longing & Laughter

An anthology of thirty poems by David Parsons, illustrated by Barbara Handley, exploring themes of love, longing and laughter. The poems are inspired by the countryside, memories of childhood, the joys of marriage and family, and the poet's spiritual journey. David is an Anglican minister who retired to the Lake District five years ago, where he enjoys walking in the fells, music and time spent with his family. Barbara is an artist who has lived all her life in the Lake District. She likes to work in various media and frequently finds inspiration from the written word.
