La «Cosa rimossa» (= res remota) è l’«oggetto interdetto»: la Cosa materna. La «Cosa mossa» (= res mota) è l’«oggetto detto»: la Cosa detta. La rimozione (= remotio) è quella che inter-dice la «res» causandone la reiterazione, mentre la mozione (= motio) è quella che dice la «res» effettuandone la obliterazione.
