Destiny, a girl who has had her fair share of lack of faith and understanding when it came to the Lord Jesus Christ. She was a little girl who needed to be safe and to be protected. seeking out love in all of the wrong places due to the lack of a sufficient male figure in her life. all she wanted was to feel safe and loved. All she wanted was security. She was always told that she has a Heavenly father but all she craved was a physical father. A physical man that she could trust. Someone to show her how a girl is truly supposed to be treated. She has walked many times confused and scared not knowing how to trust God and not feeling fully secure in him while feeling so lonely. During this journey of faith, she becomes entrapped in temptation, trauma, depression, rejection, low self-esteem, and many other mental, physical and emotional trials. Stuck on her physical attraction and appearance. Looking for the wrong attention. She is constantly searching for Jesus high and low, but Shes unaware (fails to realize) that she is not going to find him while looking at the wrong things. that it's her burying herself in sin and worldly pleasures her intentional ignorance to God's grace, lack of obedience and turning from his word, that is causing her to feel so far... so lost and confused. God was overseeing it all. He has been ready to protect her, he's been waiting for her to accept the love that he gifts freely. Throughout all these tests, traumas, and trials, she has known God by name. She has seen the way he works miracles and has seen his hand over her life. She knows that his grace is sufficient, and she knows that he will do what he said that he will do... but she still tries to operate within her own strength and power. She now has a baby boy, an unplanned pregnancy. Falling into the face of criticism and rejection. Feeling like an outcast, feeling impure, feeling looked down on because she has this child as a single mom. But she must look past this all and she has to try and raise him to be a man of God. this is a life changing event in her life. One of the biggest events to happen in her life if you may. her responsibility is now not only to herself, but it is now to an innocent child. She is responsible for loving this child like God loves. But how does she love if she doesn't love herself? She must see and genuinely accept the love that he gives her in order for her to truly love from the heart that God gave her to love with.
