Imagine a close-knit, peaceful town where different types of people lived together and could co-exist happily and no one felt unwelcome. Imagine a newcomer with completely different views visited the town and challenged everyone's way of thinking. Peter and Jessilyn Foster, a married couple from New York, have moved into the small town of Rosehill with a mission--to convert the townspeople to their religion. Luke Forsythe, a well-liked college boy who befriends and works for the Fosters, feels that he is forced to choose between his Christian upbringing (as well as his social circle) and his obligation to be understanding and respectful towards those who are ostracized. Can he truly serve two masters: his reputation and his ethics? Can the townspeople learn to be empathetic to the beliefs of their new neighbors? Is Rosehill as tolerant as they thought they were?
