Ancestors of Carl H Cookson

A historical researcher himself, diving into Carl Cookson's family history is immense fun! Most of his family originates in Lancashire, England but his mother comes from Armenia (once Greece and Turkey) where his family survived an ethnic cleansing by local leaders. His English roots go back to the Kings of England (King John and beyond), the Kings of Ireland, Prince Henry Sinclair of Orkney and Scotland, the Cameron and Campbell clans of Scotland, and even Kings of the Huns in 1150 BC. Along the way, it crosses paths with both the Merovingian and Carolingian dynastys, and Pompey of Rome. His mothers side isn't as extensive, as records have been lost, but thanks to a 3rd cousin a complete history of the known Arslanian family from Greece is included with many pictures of family members.
