Detective Sarah Miller had always been drawn to the mysteries of the world, even as a child growing up in the bustling city. Born and raised in a modest neighborhood, she was the youngest of three siblings in a tight-knit family. Her parents, both blue-collar workers, instilled in her the values of hard work and perseverance from an early age.
Sarah's fascination with detective work began when she stumbled upon her father's old detective novels in the attic. She devoured them one by one, immersing herself in the intricate web of clues and the pursuit of justice. It was during these moments of youthful curiosity that she decided she wanted to be a detective.
After graduating from high school with top honors, Sarah pursued a degree in criminal justice at the city's university. She excelled academically, but her real education came from the streets.
While working part-time as a waitress to support herself through college, Sarah volunteered at a local community center. There, she connected with the people who lived in the neighborhoods most affected by crime. She listened to their stories, shared their struggles, and gained a unique perspective on the city's underbelly.
Upon graduating, Sarah joined the police academy, where her dedication and natural investigative skills quickly caught the eye of her instructors. She graduated at the top of her class and was assigned to the Homicide Division, where she'd been solving cases for the past
decade.
