Embroider Sweet Motifs from Sweden (black&white edition)

This collection of images (redrawn and colored from sketches and photographs taken at loppis, the flea market in Jönköping and Nässjö, Sweden) are from old tablecloths, dishtowels, runners, wall hangings, pillowcases, and bed sheets. Many of the items were worn from use, but the simple images were lovely and worth saving. Bright and colorful, they were probably drawn by women who then embroidered and embellished their own artwork to reflect the hopes of their beautiful spirits - have fun and create!
