Embroider Sweet Motifs from Sweden

This collection of images (drawn and colored from sketches and photographs taken at loppis, the flea market in Jönköping and Nässjö, Sweden) are from old tablecloths, dishtowels, runners, wall hangings, pillowcases, and bed sheets. Many of the items were inexpensive and quite worn, but the simple images were lovely and worth saving. Bright and colorful, they were probably drawn by women who then embroidered and embellished their own artwork to reflect the hope of their beautiful spirits - have fun and create!
