Tonorum Communium Regulae iuxta Ritum Ordinis Praedicatorum

This set of "Rules for the Common Chants" was published in 1965 for the Dominican Rite. It gives the eight psalm tones, the chants for readings at Mass and Office, and some music for Compline according to the traditional melodies, but using the so-called "Solesmes" notation and method. It is a useful book for learning to sing the psalm tones and the readings, and for those trained in the Benedictine notation who have trouble interpreting the older Dominican neumes.
