Sacred Blood The Children of Herakles The Capture of Sparta
Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
Years pass, and Tyndaneus is no more. His daughter Ledaea (Helen) and her daughter Hermione have also passed and Spartan kingship now lies with her son, Tisamenus. Even though time has passed, punishment, persecution, and humiliation of Herakles persist under King Tisamenus. He decrees before any business contract can be completed the question of cult must be asked, and any contract involving cult Herakles must be approved by him personally. It’s this law that finally places Herakles in open rebellion once again. What do they have to lose?
Unlike Tyndaneus, Tisamenus doesn’t harbor a grudge against Herakles. His hatred is a consequence of Herakles’ open rebellion against native Kings. Hyllas (The Younger) follows the path of his forefathers. Intent on boldly defying native ideas as Hyllas (The Elder) did, Herakles embarks on steps destined to keep their promise of freedom and the destruction of the native world.
No longer needing to prove their loyalty, - their ancestors having done that already with their labors - Herakles accepts Dorian tasks designed to humiliate native Kings. To distinguish child from parent, Herakles devises a plan to surpass the expectations of the Greek world. They vow to capture Sparta.
